April 26 at the All-Russian meeting of patent attorneys within the «Russian High-Tech Week — 2018» in Moscow will discuss the introduction of blocking technology in the work of the patent service. The use of blockade in the work of the patent service of Rospatent is offered by the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Innovators (RSII).
«The transition to advanced blockbuster technology is promising for various databases of state structures, and since such data will include personal data and other closed information, it is likely that the patent service will work on the state blockbuster platform» says the website of the organization.
According to Alexei Kozyrev, Deputy Minister of Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation, the implementation of the blockade should be carried out at the level of state bodies and ministries of the Russian Federation, since this tool developed by private companies is not reliable enough.
«The use of the blockade will help simplify the procedure for issuing patents, automate it. This technology is necessary for large structures that have large archives for storing and processing data, especially when it comes to their long-term storage, which is important for the patent service. In the conditions of sanctions and the existing trend for import substitution of technologies, the process of protecting the rights to inventions should be made easier, and the method of storing information about patents is more transparent, «said chairman of the central council of RSII Anton Ishchenko.
Earlier, Communications Minister Nikolai Nikiforov supported the introduction of technology in the field of intellectual property.
